XCO Alma Serrana

Alma Serrana, San Carlos

Olympic cross-country (XCO) race on the regional calendar of the Uruguayan Cycling Federation, which places it in San Carlos, Maldonado. It is the «farewell» of the Alma Serrana course, 3.5 km laps. Organized by Club Ciclistas Carolinos, Fernando Larrosa and the Gelpes family. Start at 10:30. Elite, under-23, junior, cadet, Master A to D and promotional categories; licensed and unlicensed riders race (the latter with insurance). San Carlos

Long-distance mountain bike race in San Carlos, Maldonado, organized by Ciclistas Carolinos. The Uruguayan Cycling Federation lists it on its regional calendar for Sunday 24 January, with categories from cadet to masters and promotional. The 2027 distances, start venue and registration are not published yet. The 2026 edition, on 25 January, had 101, 77 and 47 km courses and a 111 km gravel race.

Tour de San Carlos

San Carlos

Three-day stage race in San Carlos, Maldonado, organized by Ciclistas Carolinos; this is the 8th edition and it is on the calendar of the Uruguayan Cycling Federation. The men's elite, under-23 and junior categories race. The 2027 stages are not published yet; in 2026 there was a 10 km individual time trial and two road stages of 147 and 148 km. For the public it is one to go and watch.
