Annual activity of Fundación Diabetes Uruguay held around World Diabetes Day to promote physical activity and raise funds for free educational camps for children and young people with diabetes. The foundation has not announced the 2026 edition yet; the sports calendar of the Montevideo city government lists it on Sunday 6 December. The 15th edition was on 7 December 2024 on the Montevideo waterfront, with 1, 3.5 and 8 km routes.

Race of the GFNY series with a 146 km long course (1,700 m of climbing) and an 86 km medium course (715 m). Only long-course finishers are ranked; the medium course is timed without a ranking. The route has serious climbs on Routes 60 and 12, and passes Punta Ballena about 10 km from the finish.
The country's main stage race, organized by the Uruguayan Cycling Federation; this is the 82nd edition. The 2027 route has not been announced yet. Trail race through native woodland in the rugged hills of Polanco, Lavalleja, billed as the most countryside trail in Uruguay. It has a competitive 14 km distance and a participatory 7 km one. The 2027 edition has not been announced yet; the 6th one was held on Sunday 17 May 2026.

Mountain trail race in the Sierras de las Ánimas, based in Gregorio Aznárez, Maldonado. We have not found an announcement of a new edition yet. The 2025 registration page dated it 25 May, with 45, 16 and 9 km, and the 2026 edition is listed as cancelled in the ITRA race database.
International half marathon in Colonia del Sacramento, starting at Real de San Carlos, on Sunday 27 June 2027. Besides the 21K there are 10K and 5K races. The start time is still to be confirmed. It is organized by Solo Carreras and registration for residents of Uruguay is through RedTickets.
Free fun run by the Diversity Secretariat of the Montevideo city government, for running, walking and having fun. The city government page announces an edition on a Sunday 23 March in Parque Batlle, with registration through a web form. The 2027 edition has not been announced yet and the month is an estimate; we have not found a page for the 2026 edition either.
Road race by La Sierra Eventos Deportivos along the Montevideo waterfront, starting and finishing at Dique Mauá, over 5 K and 10 K. The 2027 edition has not been announced yet; the 2026 one was held on 7 June, at 8 am, with 1800 competitors.
